Quick Resume: I began teaching guitar to students of all ages and abilities nearly 20 years ago. I can teach you how to play your favorite songs whether they are rock, alternative, pop or another style -- while you learn theory at the same time. I have learned techniques from the best guitarists in the world while working as the editor of Guitar.com and author of numerous music instructional books published by Hal Leonard, the world’s largest music publisher.
Guitar and guitar music has been my passion for several decades. I have been an active player for nearly 30 years and have finally reached that long joked about point of having forgotten more about guitar than many people ever learn in the first place. I currently front a blues rock band in Chicago.
