| Quick Resume: Learning to play guitar has never been this much fun, this exciting, or this easy.
Training:
Jazz studies with Red Camp, Howard Roberts, and Dick Grove. Classical Guitar with Javier Calderon.
Performance:
I Have organized and toured with groups ranging in size from duo to quintet, performing most all genres of contemporary music.
Teaching method and facts about lessons:
I try to find the best in every student. To be positive, encoraging, and friendly. The studio enviroment I furnish to my students provides all the resources necessary for efficient and effective learning.
I have taught guitar for over 40 years, the last 15 have been in Arlington, Texas. I teach between 45 and 60 students per week. Most students attend only one half hour private lesson per week as two to three hours of practice outside of the lesson are typically required to completely prepare for the next lesson. One hour lessons are available, but are usually reserved for the more advanced student or for someone with more time to spend outside of the lesson accomplishing the concepts and skills assigned. |
