BIO
Peter Madsen holds advanced degrees in performance and music education from Syracuse University and Boston University. He is the leader of the Celebration Brass Ensemble and Solo Cornet with the Flower City Society Orchestra. Peter can be heard on the silent film sound tracks “Peter Pan”, “Captain Salvation”, “Stella Maris” and “Poor Little Rich Girl”. In addition, Mr. Madsen is active as a trumpet soloist at many area churches, wedding ceremonies, and broadway show orchestras. He has also performed with the Penfield, Brockport and Greece Symphony Orchestras. Currently, Mr. Madsen holds the position of band director at the Hilton Central School District.
