| Quick Resume: let's see my "formal training" was taking guitar lessons and teaching. since my first lesson the guitar has become a part of me. i have had students graduate from notorious schools like Berkley, GIT,etc. some are teachers themselves,playing in area bands, and studio players. |
| References: my main objective when i teach is to make sure that the student has FUN with the guitar while learning the FUNdamentals. i get them to play songs THEY want to play first, then we begin all that fun theory stuff. I teach them exactly what they want to learn(of course i explain all options)but they pick what they want to learn. that way its fun, and they learn it all without even realizing it!!!!!! |
